Minnesota Crookston Trap in Fourth Place after Week Four

CROOKSTON, Minn. - The University of Minnesota Crookston trap team sits in fourth place of six teams after the fourth week of the USA College Clay Target League 1A-Conference 7 standings. Minnesota Crookston posted their best week for points with 1,149 points. They have 3,976.50 total points. They currently trail Lindenwood University, Alfred State College, and Southwest Wisconsin Technical College. They are ahead of Western Technical College (3,321.00 Points) and Lake Area Technical College (1,988 Points).

Jayden Bergerson (Sr., Gully, Minn.) and Austin Hughes (So., New York Mills, Minn.) each shot 25-straight in rounds where they were standing right next to each other. Bergerson's 25-straight was for competition and he went 49-of-50. Hughes shot the 25 in his practice round, and went 48-of-50 in the practice round. 

Bergerson paced the Golden Eagles hitting 49-of-50 targets. Kallen Littler (So., Bemidji, Minn.), Amelia Miller (Fr., Hastings, Minn.), Olivia Monger (So., Orono, Minn.) Dessa Terning (Fr., Dassel, Minn.), and Braxton Qual (Jr., Mahnomen, Minn.) all shot 47-of-50 clays during the week. Rebecca Morstad (So., Cavalier, N.D.), C.J. Walsh (So.), and Codey Wolff (Sr., Wadena, Minn.) all connected on 46-of-50 targets. Eli Devore (So., Park Rapids, Minn.), Sydney Huwe (Sr., Carver, Minn.), Chase Nelson (Jr., Red Lake Falls, Minn.), and Lucas Wavra (So., East Grand Forks, Minn.) all went 45-of-50 for the week. Kaden Halvorson (Fr.), Kelsey Harms (Sr., Norwood Young America, Minn.), Hughes, and Allison Jepson (Jr., Frazee, Minn.) connected on 44-of-50 targets. Mackenzie Ondrush (Jr., Climax, Minn.) went 43-of-50 in competition. Ethan Benedict (Sr., Maple Grove, Minn.) went 42-of-50 for the week. Louis Siegel (Jr., Anoka, Minn.) connected on 41-of-50 targets, while Stephen McFadzen (Fr.), and Heidi Zimmerman (Fr., Motley, Minn.) hit 40-of-50 clays for the week.

The Golden Eagles are in their final week of the fall season.
