CROOKSTON, Minn. - The University of Minnesota Crookston remained in second place in the USA College Clay Target League 1A-Conference 6 standings after week two. Minnesota Crookston notched a score of 601.5. They have a total of 1,216.50 after two weeks. The Golden Eagles have a sizable lead over State Technical College of Missouri (840.00) and Mitchell Technical College (666.0). They currently trail Lake Area Technical College in fourth by 243 points. Southwest Wisconsin Technical College is currently in first with 2,154.5 points.
Rebecca Morstad (Jr., Cavalier, N.D.) is tied for fourth among female shooters in the conference with a 23.25 average. Kylie Plambeck (Fr., Faribault, Minn.) is also tied for fourth among female shooters with a 23.25 average. Additionally, C.J. Walsh (Jr., Stillwater, Minn.) and Lucas Wavra (Jr., East Grand Forks, Minn.) each scored 25-straights in practice for the Golden Eagles.
Minnesota Crookston was paced in week two by Wavra, who connected on 48-of-50 targets for the Golden Eagles. Eli Aho (Fr., New York Mills, Minn.), and Austin Hughes (Jr., New York Mills, Minn.) each knocked down 47-of-50 clay targets. Plambeck, Braxton Qual (Sr., Mahnomen, Minn.), and Ryder Sahr (Fr., Albertville, Minn.) went 46-of-50 in week two. Morstad hit 45-of-50 clay targets. Brooke Rosenberg (So.) went 44-of-50 on opportunities. Shane Francis (Fr., Faribault, Minn.), Kallen Littler (Jr., Bemidji, Minn.), and Walsh each went 43-of-50 for the Golden Eagles. Carter Bye (So., St. Louis Park, Minn.), Eli Devore (Jr., Park Rapids, Minn.), and Kara Wold (Sr., Belgrade, Minn.) connected on 41-of-50 targets, while Amelia Miller (So., Hastings, Minn.) was 40-of-50.Â
