Crookston, Minn. – Head Coach Bryan Beamish announced the schedule for Golden Eagle men's basketball earlier this morning. The 28 game slate opens up in early November with non-conference play.

The Golden Eagles will play 13 games in the friendly confines of Lysaker Gymnasium, 12 games on the road and three neutral site games. The longest home-stand of the season will be three games and that happens twice in a stretch from Dec. 6-14 and Jan. 24-29. The Golden Eagles will be on the road back-to-back weekends in mid-January at Winona State-Minnesota State and Concordia-St. Paul-Minnesota Duluth.

The Golden Eagles will see a challenging non-conference schedule, which will gear them up for NSIC play, which includes a visit to the defending National Champions in Minnesota State. Three non-conference opponents are opponents from the season ago, where the Golden Eagles went 3-0 in those games.

The Golden Eagles will open the season with the NSIC/GAC Crossover, hosted by Minnesota Duluth. The Golden Eagles will play Oklahoma Baptist on Friday, Nov. 8 at 3 P.M., and then will play East Central (Okla.) on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 11 A.M. Minnesota Crookston started 2-0 a season ago with wins over the Bison and Tigers.

The Golden Eagles will continue non-conference play with a pair of marquee matchups in the friendly confines of Lysaker Gymnasium. Parkside comes to town for the home opener on Nov. 16 at 11 A.M. The following day, former NSIC foe Upper Iowa, an NCAA Tournament team from a season ago, comes to Crookston for a 2 P.M., start on Nov. 17.

The Golden Eagles will play North Dakota State for the second time in three seasons in exhibition play at the Scheels Center on Nov. 21.

The conference opener for the Golden Eagles will be on the road at Minot State on Nov. 26 at 7:30 P.M., before wrapping up non-conference play with a trip to the sunshine state for matchups with the University of Tampa and Eckerd College.

Following their trip to Florida, the Golden Eagles will return home for a pair of weekend games against Bemidji State and Northern State.

The Golden Eagles will play every NSIC opponent at least once and will play the following schools twice in conference play: Bemidji State, UMary, Northern State, Sioux Falls, Southwest Minnesota State, Concordia-St. Paul, Minnesota Duluth, Minot State.

Minnesota Crookston opens up the 2024-25 season with the first day of practice on Oct. 14.
