Nine Home Matches Highlight Golden Eagle Volleyball Schedule for 2024

Crookston, Minn. – Head Coach Nick Meseck and Golden Eagle volleyball introduced their schedule for the 2024 season. The Golden Eagles will host nine matches this fall, all coming in Northern Sun play.
 
The Golden Eagles will play seven matches against opponents that ranked in the top-25 last season and five matches against NCAA Tournament teams from last season.
 
The Golden Eagles will jump on a plane and head to Pueblo, Colo., for the second time since 2021 and play in the Steel City Showcase, hosted by Colorado State Pueblo. The Golden Eagles will open up Showcase against Cal State East Bay on Sept. 5 at 6 PM. After playing four matches in Colorado, the Golden Eagles will play four more matches in South Dakota at the Yellow Jacket Classic, hosted by Black Hills State. The maroon and gold will play Eastern New Mexico twice in non-conference play.
 
The Golden Eagles will play four opponents for the first time in school history this season: Cal State East Bay, Lubbock Christian, Black Hills State and Montana State University Billings.
 
Following their excursions west, the Golden Eagles will open up NSIC play with a split home opener against Bemidji State (Sept. 18, 6PM) and St. Cloud State (Sept. 21, 2 P.M.). The Golden Eagles will then head on the road to Minnesota State and nine-time National Champion, Concordia-St. Paul. The most time on the road for the Golden Eagles will be a three-match stretch in a week from Oct. 22-26, when the Golden Eagles will head to St. Cloud State (Oct. 22, 6PM) and UMary and Minot State for a Friday and Saturday weekend.
 
The Golden Eagles home matches this season feature high quality opponents, including Concordia-St. Paul, Wayne State College, Minnesota Duluth and Northern State.
 
The NSIC Tournament takes place on November 19, 21 and 23.
