Bemidji, Minn. - The Golden Eagles are off to an incredible start this season and have now continued that with a 7-0 win over Bemidji State. This is the best start to a season in program history, surpassing their total amount of wins last season.

In doubles, the Golden Eagles had a 6-4 win from Daniela de Lucas Rivera (Fr., Madrid, Spain) and Ariadna Solis Guals (Fr., Santpedor, Spain), a 6-2 win from Madeleine Schneider (Sr., Gartringen, Germany) and Blaike Zander (Jr., Bismarck, N.D.), and a 6-0 win from Kavya Singh (Jr., Agra, India) and Nadia Cases Mundet (Fr., Barcelona, Spain) the Golden Eagles would then dominate the singles matchups.

In singles, Schneider had wins of 6-3 and 6-4, de Lucas Rivera would win 6-0 and 6-1, Solis Guals would earn wins of 6-1 and 6-4, Zander would go 2-1 with final scores of 6-0, 4-6 and 6-4, Cases Mundet won 6-0 and 6-2, and Kavya Singh would win 6-0 and 6-1. This would mark the second 7-0 win on the season for the Golden Eagles.

The Golden Eagles will be back in action Friday, April 5th at 7 P.M. in St. Peter, Minn. to take on Minnesota State University - Mankato.
