Goody Stood On His Head. The WCCHA Tournament was a weekend to remember for these Golden Eagles. Despite losing in the championship, the Golden Eagles played one of their best weekends of the entire season. Adam Goody (Fr., G, Airdrie, Alberta) was a big reason why. Goody made 94 saves on 98 shots, good for a .959 save percentage. He made 19 saves on 20 shots against the Golden Gophers, 49 saves on 49 shots against the Badgers, and 26 saves on 29 shots against the Tommies. Goody's freshman season has been nothing short of amazing.
Â
Foster Continues To Dominate. Anthony Foster (Fr., F, Warroad, Minn.) has been one of the most dominant freshmen in the entire ACHA this season. He currently sits fifth in all rookie scoring for the ACHA and was far and away the highest scoring rookie in the WCCHA. He has the new record for most points by a rookie in Golden Eagle history and is not done yet. He had four points over the weekend and was a key factor in getting to the championship.
Â
Multi Point Scorers. The Golden Eagles saw high point numbers from multiple players this weekend. Five players had three or more points: Logan Syrup (Jr., F, Park River, N.D.) had a goal and two assists, Tyler Zahradka (Sr., F, Grand Forks, N.D.) had a goal and two assists, Fox Dodds (Jr., F, Watford City, N.D.) had a goal and two assists, Tristan Morneault (Sr., F, Dieppe, New Brunswick) had a goal and two assists, and Anthony Foster had two goals and two assists. Jackson Fuller (Jr., F, Bloomington, Minn.) added two points with a goal and an assist.

The Tetons
Bailey Dominating On Both Ends. The Tetons have had dominant play from their top defenseman. Alexander Bailey, in 17 games played, is tied for first on the Tetons in points. Bailey has scored six goals and added 21 assists to get to 27 on the season.
Â
Melin's Net. Austyn Melin has been great in net for the Tetons this year. The last time he played against the Golden Eagles, he made 59 saves on 63 shots against, keeping his team in the game.
Familiarity. The Golden Eagles and Tetons know each other extremely well, and it is not just because of how often they play each other. Not only does
Fox Dodds' brother Jackson play for the Tetons, the Golden Eagles also have a few former Tetons on the roster.
Fox Dodds was a Teton up until this year when he joined the Golden Eagles,
Jake Huska (Sr., D, Preeceville, Saskatchewan), and
Dylan Borseth (R-Sr., F, Williston, N.D.) all started their collegiate careers with the Tetons before transferring to the Golden Eagles.
