Crookston, Minn. – Minnesota Crookston fell to 0-3 in overtime games on the season, as they were outscored by five by the Huskies of St. Cloud State in the overtime period, falling 91-86.

Much like yesterday, there should have been a good indication that the game would go back-and-forth through the entirety.
Andrew Stokes (Jr., F, Westchester, Ill.) would start his 17-point output early, putting the Golden Eagles up 2-0.
SCSU would take a 15-8 lead, but
Christian Bowen-Webb (Jr., G, Atchison, Kan.) would score the first of his nine points with a three, making it a 15-11 game.
Minnesota Crookston would eventually take a 16-15 lead, following a layup by
Reid Grant (Sr., G, Johnston, Iowa) and a
Ben Hoverson (Sr., F, Grand Forks, N.D.) three.
The game would be tight and the Huskies would take a 31-28 lead, but that lead would quickly evaporate as
Micah Garrett (Jr., G, Portland, Ore.) would bury a three, tying the game at 31.
The Huskies would lead by five heading into the halftime break.
SCSU would maintain their lead until Garrett and Stokes would help give the Golden Eagles a three point lead at 53-50, with a pair of three-point plays; both of the conventional and unconventional variety.
Later in the half, the Huskies would lead 67-63, but four straight points from Garrett would help deadlock the score at 67.
SCSU would lead 74-71, but Mr. Big Shot,
Reid Grant would hit a massive three on one of three offensive rebounds in the game for the maroon and gold, tying the game at 74.
Grant would live up to his moniker late in the game, as he would bury a three to tie the game at 79 and send it into overtime.
The Golden Eagles would score the first three in the overtime period, highlighted by a tough finish by Stokes in transition.
Grant would finish a layup and give the Golden Eagles an 84-83 lead, but SCSU would finish the game on an 8-2 run, winning the game by five, 91-86.
Minnesota Crookston once again had four in double-figures, led by Grant, who finished with 23 points, five rebounds and six more assists. Stokes finished in double-figures for the third straight game, as he finished with 17 points and was a perfect 7-7 at the charity stripe. Garrett finished with a career-high 16 points on 6-8 shooting from the field, while
Jordan Mitchell (R-Sr., F, Columbus, Ohio) added 12 points and five rebounds. Bowen-Webb was a perfect 3-3 from long range for nine points.
Minnesota Crookston was outstanding shooting the ball. The Golden Eagles shot a season-high 57.1 percent from the field and were 38.1 percent from long range.
The game featured 15 ties and 19 lead changes.

The Golden Eagles will be back in action next Saturday as they host the University of Mary for a 4 P.M., tip-off.
