After Winning USF Invitational, Clara Hanson is First Golden Eagle in Program History to be Named NSIC Golfer of the Week

Burnsville, Minn. – After winning the USF Invitational this past week, Golden Eagle senior golfer Clara Hanson (Sr., Grand Forks, N.D.) was named the NSIC Golfer of the Week by the conference office.
 
Hanson is the first Golden Eagle in program history to be named NSIC Golfer of the Week.
 
Hanson shot a career low 72 during the first 18 holes of the USF Invitational and a 76 during the final round. The total of 148 was a career low and one of the lowest scores during a 36-hole tournament in program history.
 
Her 72 score in the first round is tied for second lowest in program history.
 
The senior helped lead the Golden Eagles close out the fall season with a top-five finish as a team at the USF Invitational, as well.
 
The Golden Eagles closed out the fall season with two, top-five finishes and were seventh or better in all five tournaments.
