CROOKSTON, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Crookston baseball team will take on Bemidji State University Sunday, April 16 at 1 and 3 p.m., and Monday, April 17 at 12 p.m. The games were relocated from Bemidji, Minn., to the UMN Crookston Baseball Field in Crookston, Minn., due to field conditions. Bemidji State will remain as the home team on the scoreboard.
Minnesota Crookston enters the weekend with a 22-14 (12-6 NSIC) mark. The Golden Eagles are seven games shy of setting the program record for wins in a season (28 in 2019).
Minnesota Crookston has had six seasons with 20 or more wins since 2015. They are currently in third place in the NSIC standings. Bemidji State comes into the weekend with a 2-31 (1-17 NSIC) record. The Golden Eagles have won the last 14 games in the series against the Beavers. Bemidji State's last win came April 11, 2017 in Bemidji, Minn. They last swept a series April 8, 2015 in Crookston.
