Minnesota Crookston Baseball Set for Doubleheader with St. Cloud State Thursday

CROOKSTON, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Crookston baseball team will take on St. Cloud State University Thursday, April 13 at 1:30 and 3:30 p.m., at the UMN Crookston Baseball Field in Crookston, Minn. The doubleheader is slated to be the first home games for the Golden Eagles in a winter with high accumulation of snow. The Golden Eagles have played their other home series in Omaha, Neb., and Norfolk, Neb.
The Golden Eagles enter the doubleheader with a 20-14 (10-6 NSIC) record. The series pits St. Cloud State, in third place in the NSIC standings, against the Golden Eagles, in fourth place. The Huskies are 17-11 (9-4 NSIC) entering Thursday's doubleheader. St. Cloud State has won the last three games in the series. Minnesota Crookston's last win came April 22, 2021 in Crookston.
