CROOKSTON, Minn. - The University of Minnesota Crookston baseball team will take on the University of Sioux Falls Saturday, April 1 at 1 and 3 p.m., and Sunday, April 2 at 1 p.m., at Veterans Memorial Baseball Field in Norfolk, Neb.
The Golden Eagles are looking to continue one of their best starts in program history. UMN Crookston is tied for first in the NSIC with Minnesota State University with a 17-9 (7-1 NSIC) mark. Minnesota Crookston has traveled around the country this season with games in Hawai'i (4), Missouri (4), Florida (10), Nebraska (6), and Wisconsin (2).

The Golden Eagles have racked up the awards this season. They have won four NSIC Player of the Week honors this season.
Jake Hjelle (R-Jr., OF/1B, East Grand Forks, Minn.) was the NSIC Player of the Week two weeks ago, along with being named the NCBWA Central Region Player of the Week. Hjelle is hitting .358, with 24 runs scored, nine doubles, eight home runs, and 32 RBIs.
Josh Dykhoff (Fr., 1B/RHP, Wadena, Minn.) was named the NSIC Player of the Week this week. Dykhoff is swinging .319, with 22 runs scored, three doubles, five home runs, and 23 RBIs.
Mike Hallquist (Jr., 3B, Fargo, N.D.) leads all of NCAA Division II with a .489 batting average. He leads the NSIC with runs scored, doubles, home runs, RBIs, OPS, and slugging percentage.
Caden Headlee (Jr., OF, Fargo, N.D.) comes in hitting .344, with 19 runs scored, three doubles, two triples, two home runs, and 16 RBIs.
On the mound, the Golden Eagles look to the reigning NSIC Pitcher of the Week, NCBWA Central Region Pitcher of the Week, and NCBWA National Pitcher of the Week
Jake Dykhoff (R-Sr., RHP, Wadena, Minn.). He is the first Golden Eagle to ever win a National Player of the Week accolade. Dykhoff is 4-2 with a 3.29 ERA in 38.1 innings pitched, with 49 strikeouts and nine walks.
Jake Osowski (R-Jr., RHP, East Grand Forks, Minn.) is 4-0 with a 2.62 ERA in 34.1 innings pitched, with 30 strikeouts and 14 walks.
