11/28/2023 12:59:00 PM

The Golden Eagles are on the road for the first time in nearly a month. As the Golden Eagles head to Sartell, Minn. for the season series against Saint John's University, they also prepare for a lengthy stretch of road games. The Golden Eagles will play their next four weekends on the road before returning home for one final season series.

Aamold Answers the Call. Jared Aamold (Jr., G, Breckenridge, Minn.) got the nod in net for Sunday's matchup with the Tetons and he responded in a big way. Aamold took control of the game and stopped all 24 shots he faced, he also added his first career assist. This was Aamold's first shutout of the season and his second of his career.

Borseth's Big Weekend. Dylan Borseth (R-Sr., F, Williston, N.D.) had a huge weekend for the Golden Eagles. On Saturday, Borseth had the assist on Anthony Foster's (Fr., F, Warroad, Minn.) goal that put the game out of reach for the Golden Eagles. On Sunday, Borseth put two past the Tetons goalie, this put Borseth at six goals and five assists for 11 points in 14 games this season.

Foster's Six Points. Anthony Foster was, simply put, dominant against the Tetons this weekend. In Saturday's matchup, Foster put up one goal and two assists. Sunday he was right back at it, Foster put up three assists in the Golden Eagles 8-0 win. Foster now leads the Golden Eagles, the WCCHA Midwest, and is tied for fifth in all WCCHA scoring with seven goals and 19 assists for 26 points in just 14 games.
