Golden Eagles Preparing for Bethel. The Golden Eagles come into this weekend following a weekend where they split the series with St. Thomas that saw the Golden Eagles become the first team to defeat St. Thomas this season. The Golden Eagles also saw some incredible goaltending from goalies Wyatt Olsonawski (So., G, Hallock, Minn.) and Adam Goody (Fr., G, Airdrie, Alberta) who stopped a combined total of 71 shots on 76 shots against.
Wyatt's Winning Ways. Wyatt Olsonawski has been dominant in net this season and was the key to Friday's win. Olsonawski faced 45 shots in Friday's contest and stopped 43 of them, he made some massive saves throughout the entire game and was clutch late. He is now 3-0-0 on the season with a 1.97 goals against average and a .948 save percentage.
Morneault Makes a Difference. Tristan Morneault (Sr., F, Dieppe, New Brunswick) made his season debut on Friday and was a huge part of the teams win. He collected his first point of the season with a primary assist on Jackson Fuller's (Jr., F, Bloomington, Minn.) opening goal in Friday's matchup. Morneault saw powerplay, penalty kill, and top six forward minutes in his first two games of the season.
Fuller Finds Twine. Jackson Fuller was a man on a mission in Friday's game, he scored the first goal of the game just four minutes in. Fuller was not done there either, he would add another goal with a late second period tally to take back the lead.

Nelson Leads the Royals. Blake Nelson has been the Royals best player so far this season and he hopes to keep that going this weekend. His five goals and three assists in seven games this year leads the team in goals and has him second on the team in assists, he is also first in points.
Keeping Things Tight. Bethel has been able to stay within reach of each of their last three games, winning two and losing one by two goals. The Royals hope that they can slow down the high scoring Golden Eagles.
