DULUTH, Minn. - The University of Minnesota Crookston volleyball team was defeated 3-0 (25-12, 25-12, 25-13) by 10th-ranked University of Minnesota Duluth Saturday, October 14 at Romano Gymnasium. The Bulldogs picked up their 26th-straight win in the series.

Minnesota Crookston dropped to 3-15 (1-9 NSIC) with Saturday's loss. The Bulldogs improved to 14-5 (7-4 NSIC) with the victory.

Key Players
Maya Jones (Fr., RS, New Braunfels, Texas) paced the U of M Crookston with seven kills and a .167 hitting percentage. Madison Carsten (Fr., OH, Wadena, Minn.) notched seven kills and hit .087. Audrey Cariveau (So., OH, Kevil, Ky.) tallied four kills.

Dana Melby (R-Fr., S, Gonvick, Minn.) had 18 assists, and chipped in three kills. Defensively, Kailee Waasdorp (Fr., DS/Lib., West Fargo, N.D.) paced the Golden Eagles with 12 digs. Cariveau and Emma Malek (Fr., MH/RS, Plainfield, Ill.) added two block assists.

Stats
The Golden Eagles hit .090, with 25 kills, and 16 errors. The U of M Crookston had six block assists. Minnesota Duluth hit .410, with 50 kills, and nine errors. The Bulldogs finished with 14 block assists.

Top Bulldogs
Cianna Selbitschka led UMD with 12 kills. She hit .611. Samantha Paulsen chipped in 11 kills, and hit .647. Madison Gordon paced Minnesota Duluth with 34 assists. Selbitschka led the team with 17 digs, while Grace Daak had five block assists.
