Burnsville, Minn. – For the second time this season, Minnesota Crookston women's basketball has an NSIC North Division Player of the Week. Redshirt senior Bren Fox (R-Sr., C, Norwood Young America, Minn.) garnered the award after averaging 16.5 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks per game on the weekend.

Fox joins Emma Miller (Fr., G, Albertville, Minn.) as Golden Eagles to win the award this season. It's the first time since 2015-16 since the Golden Eagles have had two different players win the award throughout the season.

Michaela Jewett of Augustana won the NSIC South Division Player of the Week after averaging 15 points and 9.5 rebounds per game.

Fox finished with 17 points, 15 rebounds and a career-high six blocks in the win over USF, including the game-winning three at the end of overtime to give the Golden Eagles a much needed 63-60 win over the Cougars on Friday night.

Fox has had an unbelievable final season up to this point for the maroon and gold. Fox ranks 15th in the nation in rebounds per game, 25th in defensive rebounds per game and 30th in double-doubles with eight.

Fox and the Golden Eagles will start the huge month of February this weekend in North Dakota when they head to the University of Mary and Minot State University. Tip-off with the Marauders is set for 7:30 P.M., from Bismarck.
