Crookston, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Crookston hockey team was finally back at home for a game against Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

The Blugolds quieted a raucous crowd and used an unassisted goal late in the second period for the 3-2 win.

Wisconsin-Eau Claire improves to 6-3, while the Golden Eagles see their first blemish on the season, falling to 6-1.

Martin Moioffer would find the back of the net with two minutes left in the first period for a 2-0 lead heading into the first period break.

The Golden Eagles would show their offensive firepower. Minnesota Crookston finally got one past Francisco Gomez, as Zach Larson (Jr., F, Grand Forks, N.D.) would take a beautiful feed from Mitchell Coleman (So., F, Hatton, N.D.) to cut the lead to 2-1. It was Larson's third goal of the season.

Just nine seconds later, Jackson Fuller (So., F, Minneapolis, Minn.) would find the back of the net off of a feed from Casey Kallock (Sr., D, Alvarado, Minn.) to knot things up at two. Larson also garnered the second assist.

Exactly five minutes later, Bradbury would score the game winning goal, taking a turnover in the Golden Eagle zone and depositing it in the back of the net for the 3-2 lead.

Minnesota Crookston would have a bevy of outstanding chances in the third period, including late in the third period when Gomez made an outstanding save on Tyler Zahradka (Jr., F, Grand Forks, N.D.).

Gomez made a whopping 59 saves in the game, while Jared Aamold (So., G, Breckenridge, Minn.) finished with 29 saves in the game.
