CROOKSTON, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Crookston women's tennis program will host home matches Sunday, February 21 at Choice Health and Fitness against Southwest Minnesota State University at 8:30 a.m., and Minnesota State University-Mankato at 3:30 p.m.
The Golden Eagles are currently 0-3 on the season. UMN Crookston is competing at home for the first time during the 2021 season. Southwest Minnesota State comes into the weekend with a 2-0 mark following wins over University of Minnesota Duluth and St. Cloud State University last weekend. Minnesota State comes into the weekend with a 0-2 mark after losses last week to UMD and St. Cloud State.
UMN Crookston is led by
Tasha Achermann (Fr., Motley, Minn.) at the No. 1 singles spot. At No. 1 doubles, Achermann has been pairing with
Michelle Swyter (Jr., Perham, Minn.) so far this season.
Southwest Minnesota State is led by Maegan Flight, who is 2-0 at the No. 1 singles spot. Flight and Cora Delich come in with a 0-2 mark at No. 1 doubles. Minnesota State is guided by Tyanna Washa, who is 0-1 at No. 1 singles. Washa and Lauren Goth are 0-2 at the No. 1 doubles slot.
