CROOKSTON, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Crookston remained in second place in the standings after the results were released for week two of the USA College Clay Target League Thurs., Nov. 19. The Golden Eagle shooters participated earlier this fall with their scores being ranked against other members of the USA College Clay Target League 1A-Conference 2 this week. The results for the five weeks of the season are being released daily Wed., Nov. 18-Sun., Nov. 22.
UMN Crookston had a score of 127.5 in week two. The Golden Eagles remain in second place with a total score of 283.0 with the two combined weeks. Southwest Wisconsin Technical College leads USA College Clay Target League 1A-Conference 2 with a combined score of 416.5. UMN Crookston leads Mount Aloysius College by 60 points. Mitchell Technical Institute is in fourth place in the conference with a combined score of 133.5.
Colton Schrempp (Jr., Victoria, Minn.) remains among the top shooters in the conference, as he currently has an average of 23.75 which ties for seventh in the league.
Madie Wildfeuer (So., Ormsby, Minn.) continues to be among the top female shooters in the conference with an average of 20.75. She is tied for seventh place among female shooters.
Alyssa Kasprick (Jr., Thief River Falls, Minn.) and
Hailey Olson (Fr., Albertville, Minn.) are tied for ninth among female shooters with an average of 20.0.
In week two UMN Crookston was led by Schrempp and
Cameron White (Jr., Thief River Falls, Minn.) who averaged a score of 23.0 with a total score of 46 in their two rounds during week two. Wildfeuer tallied an average of 22.5 in week two with a total score of 45 in their two rounds.
Nick Grams (So., Belle Plaine, Minn.) shot an average of 22.0 on week two, while
Karl Kosak (Jr., Olivia, Minn.),
Jaeden McCleary (So., Enderlin, N.D.), Olson, and
Peyton Verbout (So., Goodridge, Minn.) notched an average of 21.5 in the second week.
Bismarck State College continues to lead 1A-Conference 1. They are ahead of Central Lakes College by 21 points. The 13 teams in the USA College Clay Target League were split into two conferences. The conferences were divided based on team size. The third week of results in the USA College Clay Target League will be released Fri., Nov. 20.
