St. Cloud, Minn.-- After playing No. 3 Minnesota Duluth on Tuesday in Duluth, the Golden Eagles head back on the road for yet another test with No. 11 St. Cloud State on Tuesday night. This will be the second time the Huskies and Golden Eagles meet this season. The Huskies won the first match in three sets (18-25, 5-25, 20-25).

The ranked Huskies are coming off a weekend where they won both of their matches over the weekend, defeating the third-ranked Bulldogs in four and sweeping Bemidji State last Saturday evening.

Minnesota Crookston Tidbits
The Golden Eagles will look to pull off the upset over the Huskies on Tuesday night. The Golden Eagles' last victory over the Huskies came in September of 2015, when the maroon and gold swept the Huskies inside Lysaker Gymnasium.

Last Thursday night, sophomore
Porsha Porath (So., OH, Windom, Minn.) proved to be frightening for the Beavers on Halloween night. Porath added to her team lead in kills, collecting 11 on 34 total attacks for the Golden Eagles in a four set loss.
Lauren Wallace (R-So., OH, Bloomington, Minn.) was also spooky good for the Golden Eagles against the Beavers, collecting six kills on 12 total attacks, good for a .333 hitting percentage, her second highest on the season. The Golden Eagles will also look to
Kaitlin Sikkink (R-Sr., MH, St. Charles, Minn.),
Deaira Gresham (Jr., OH, Maplewood, Minn.) and
Sabrina Leuer (R-Sr., OH, Hamel, Minn.) offensively against the Huskies.

Defensively,
Katie Lienemann (Jr., DS, Rosemount, Minn.) has been solid for Head Coach
Sarah Rauen and the Golden Eagles. Lienemann leads her team with 284 digs on the season, including a career-high 39 against Minot State earlier this season. At the setter position, both
Sydney Kruisselbrink (Jr., S, Rochester, Minn.) and
Natalie Koke (R-Fr., S, Caledonia, Wis.) have been solid this season.

About St. Cloud State
The Huskies are in the middle of one of their best seasons in school history. Going into Tuesday's match with the Golden Eagles, SCSU is 19-4 and 11-4 in conference play. The Huskies have won five matches over ranked opponents, including conference opponents Upper Iowa, Southwest Minnesota State and Upper Iowa. SCSU has been very good at home this season, going 10-1 inside Halenback Hall. The only loss was to Northern State in early October.

The Huskies can beat you in a lot of different ways when they are on the attack. Erin Navratil, Chloe Dousette, Rachel Linsey, Phebie Rossi and Marah Mulso all have 100 or more kills on the season, while Linsey leads her team with 318. Linsey comes into the match sixth in the conference with 3.88 kills per set.

Clara Krenz and Linsey have been outstanding in the back row for the Huskies. Krenz not only leads her team in digs, but also the entire conference with 490 digs on the season, while Linsey ranks 11
th in the NSIC in digs and digs per set.

Linsey and Krenz were important pieces in the 3-0 win over the Golden Eagles earlier this season. Linsey had 11 kills, while Krenz led the way with 17 digs against the Golden Eagles.
