SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The University of Minnesota Crookston baseball doubleheader against Augustana scheduled for Fri., March 23 at 1 and 3 p.m. in Sioux Falls, S.D. has been cancelled due to inclement weather. The games will not be made up at a later date.
The games were cancelled as Sioux Falls, S.D. has been getting precipitation throughout most of the morning. Augustana takes the series 2-0 over Minnesota Crookston following a pair of wins Thurs., March 22 at Karras Park Home of Ronken Field in Sioux Falls, S.D.
The Golden Eagles will return to action Tues., March 27 against Minot State University. The doubleheader against the Beavers has been relocated to Watford City, N.D. at 1 and 3 p.m. due to field conditions at Corbett Field in Minot, N.D. The games will be played at the Watford City Baseball Field, an astro turf field that is part of the Rough Rider Center in Watford City, N.D.
