CLEARWATER, Fla. – Saturday's third game in a three-game series with Bentley University was called due to inclement weather in the Tampa Bay area. A storm that included heavy rain and lightning rolled in off the Gulf of Mexico shortly before Saturday's 10 a.m. C.T. start time. With the game being called, the Golden Eagles earn the sweep of Bentley with a 2-0 mark. They finish their Spring Break road trip with a 4-2 mark and head into conference play with a 7-7 mark, which is their best start in program history.
The Golden Eagles will return to play Fri., March 25 against Winona State University in Winona, Minn.
