Box Score Wayne, Neb.- The UMC soccer team's scoreless streak is extended to six games as they were defeated 1-0 by Wayne State College, Saturday afternoon. The conference loss drops the Golden Eagles overall record to 2-10-1, 1-8-1 in the NSIC.

UMC took eight total shots in the loss with
Danielle Gau (Sr., Monticello, Minn./Exercise Science and Wellness) and
Lorna McCall (So., Chicago, Ill.) getting the only shots on goal. The Wildcats took 11 total shots with five making on to net where senior keeper
Lexie Gauger (Green Bay, Wis./Criminal Justice) made four saves. The only ball to get by Gauger came ten minutes into the second half as a cross was finished off by the Wildcats' Brooke Buzzell (So., Monument, Colo.).

UMC will have to put Saturday's game in the books and get ready for a quick turnaround as they travel to Sioux Falls, S.D. tomorrow to take on Augustana University who knocked off Bemidji State University, 2-1, earlier today.

Tomorrow's road NSIC match is scheduled to start at 1:00 pm, in Sioux Falls.
