CROOKSTON, Minn. - The seventh-seed University of Minnesota Crookston men's basketball team will face second-seed Minnesota State University, Mankato in the first round of the NSIC/Sanford Health Tournament Wed., Feb. 25 at 8 p.m. at the Taylor Center in Mankato, Minn.

The Golden Eagles comes in with a 7-19 (5-17 NSIC) mark, while Minnesota State is 22-6 (17-5 NSIC). The Mavericks are led by the two-pronged attack of point guard Zach Monaghan, who is averaging 15.1 points per game and 8.3 assists per game.
