CROOKSTON, Minn. - The University of Minnesota Crookston volleyball team fell 3-0 (25-21, 25-13, 25-7) to No. 9 Northern State University. The Golden Eagles fall to 6-8 (2-4 NSIC) with Friday's loss. Northern State improved to an unblemished 14-0 (6-0 NSIC) with the victory.
The Golden Eagles were led on the night by
Maggie Perrel (R-So., New Germany, Minn.), who had eight kills.
Stephanie Pearson (Sr., OH, Frankfort, Ill.) had seven kills, while
Kelci Green (R-So., MH, Anoka, Minn.) tallied four kills.

UMC hit .038 on the match with 23 kills and 20 errors on the night.
Northern State was led by reigning AVCA Player of the Week Kelsey Chambers, who had 15 kills with a .480 hitting percentage. Tori Biach added 12 kills, while Cari McGarvie and Mandy Kurosky each had six kills.

Drew Smith had 40 assists on the match. Defensively, Renee Hoffman had nine digs, while Amanda Tobin had five digs.
The Wolves hit .430 on the match with 46 kills and just nine errors on the match.
