CROOKSTON, Minn. - The University of Minnesota Crookston men's basketball team will take on St. Cloud State University and University of Minnesota Duluth this weekend. The Golden Eagles will take on the Huskies at 8 p.m. Fri., Jan. 9 and the Bulldogs Sat., Jan. 10 at 6 p.m. Minnesota Crookston is 6-6 (4-4 NSIC) on the season.

The Golden Eagles have been led this season by Derrick Redd, Jr. (Jr., G, Menifee, Calif./Sports and Rec Management) is averaging 13.0 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. In addition to Redd, Tyler West, Jr. (Sr., G/F, Portland, Ore./Communications) is averaging 11.8 points and 7.6 rebounds per game.

St. Cloud State currently owns a record of 7-7 (3-5 NSIC). The Huskies have been led by Jordan Poydras, who is averaging 16.1 points per game and 4.5 rebounds per game, while James Fort is averaging 11.6 points and 5.9 rebounds per game.

Minnesota Duluth is 6-8 (3-5 NSIC) on the weekend. The Bulldogs have been led by Brett Ervin, who is averaging 18.6 points and 5.3 rebounds per game, while Pierre Newton is averaging 11.8 points and 6.2 rebounds per game on the season.
