The Golden Eagles will take on the Huskies at 6 p.m. Fri., Jan. 9 and the Bulldogs at 4 p.m., Sat., Jan. 10. UMC is 5-7 (4-4 NSIC) heading into Friday. St. Cloud State is 9-3 (5-3 NSIC), while Minnesota Duluth is 5-7 (3-5 NSIC).
The Golden Eagles are led by
Alexa Thielman (Jr., G, Buffalo, Minn.), who comes in averaging 15.8 points and 4.7 rebounds per game.
Katrina Moenkedick (Jr., F, Perham, Minn.) comes in averaging 13.7 points and 5.6 rebounds per game.
The Huskies have been led on the season by forward Lexy Petermann, who is averaging 16.8 points and 7.3 rebounds on the year. Guard Chelsea Nooker comes in averaging 12.1 points and 5.1 rebounds. UMD has looked to forward Taylor Meyer, who is averaging 17.7 points and 9.0 rebounds, while Jessica Newman is averaging 12.3 points and 4.3 rebounds.
