Regal's Rundown with Josh Brehmer: Kamille Wahlin and Kevin Larson

CROOKSTON, Minn. - As we end the 2013-14 basketball season, we had Josh Brehmer sit down with UMC women's basketball assistant coach Kamille Wahlin and men's basketball point guard Kevin Larson (Jr., New Ulm, Minn./Sports and Rec Management) to discuss the final few weekends of the season. Wahlin, a basketball phenom at Crookston High School went on to an illustrious career at University of Iowa before returning to UMC as an assistant this season, she is wrapping up her first season on Head Coach Mike Roysland's staff. Larson is a junior college transfer who has led the ship for the Golden Eagles this season.

In the first segment, Brehmer and Wahlin talk about some improvements Wahlin has seen in the team so far this year. They also discuss what it will take to get two wins this weekend on the road against University of Minnesota Duluth and St. Cloud State University as the Golden Eagles wrap up the regular season. Finally, Brehmer and Wahlin talk about how the transition back to her hometown and to the bench as a coach has gone thus far.

In the second segment, Brehmer talks to Larson about how it is he ended up at UMC from Iowa Lakes Community College. In addition, the two talk about what UMC needs to do against SCSU and UMD this weekend, as well as what Larson is looking to do to improve for his senior season.
