CROOKSTON, Minn. - Brost Chevrolet, Inc. will continue its sponsorship of recruiting cars for the University of Minnesota, Crookston athletic department as was announced by
Stephanie Helgeson, Director of Athletics for the University of Minnesota, Crookston and
Bill Tyrrell, Director of Athletic Fundraising.
Last year, Brost Chevrolet started its sponsorship of recruiting cars in conjunction with the “Golden Eagles on Wheels” program. They donated two cars for Golden Eagle athletic coaches to use during the recruiting season. This type of sponsorship is vital to the overall success of a growing NCAA II athletic program. The two vehicles are used by coaches during their peak recruiting seasons and can save the athletic budget up to $10,000 annually. This relationship will continue into the 2012-13 athletic season.
"We are very excited to have Brost Chevrolet continue their relationship with the UMC Athletic Department," Helgeson said. "They have been great to us in the past and we are very thankful to have their continued support. I would once again like to thank Allen Brost and Brost Chevrolet, Inc. for their generous contribution. It goes a long way in helping all of our athletic programs."
Brost Chevrolet, Inc. is located at 1600 University Avenue in Crookston, Minn.
