Megan Eul (5-10, Sr, F, Rosemount, Minn.) has been named to the 2012 Capital One Academic All-American First Team as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (COSIDA).
Eul just completed her senior season for the Golden Eagles where she averaged 13.7 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. Going into the last weekend of the season, Megan ranked fifth all-time at U of M, Crookston in points per game with 10.5 and also made free-throws with 321. Megan is a member of the UMC Student Athlete Advisory Committee, the early childhood club and is a member of the Chancellor's 4.0 club. She has been a two-time member of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) All-Academic team and will add a third following the season. Megan has been named NSIC Player of the Week and KROX Athlete of the Week. This year she has also been honored with the Myles Brand All-Academic with Distinction Award and was named to the Capital One Academic All-District Women's Basketball team. Megan has a 3.97 grade point average and is majoring in early childhood education. She is the daughter of Liz and Craig Eul.
