(Crookston, Minn.)- The University of Minnesota, Crookston Men's Basketball team closes out the 2011-2012 season at home with a pair of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) games. The Golden Eagles host Wayne State College on Friday, February 24 and Augustana College (AC) on Saturday, February 25. Games tip-off at 8 p.m. and 6 p.m. respectively.

U of M, Crookston holds an overall record of 7-17 and NSIC record of 3-17 after dropping games at Upper Iowa University (75-63) and Winona State University (60-37) this past weekend. The Golden Eagles are led by Akeem Cubie (6-6, Sr, G/F, Minneapolis, Minn.) who is averaging 16.9 points and 4.9 rebounds per game. Jacolby Anderson (6-2, Sr, G, Lancaster, Texas) is averaging14 points per game.

U of M, Crookston will bid farewell to four seniors. In addition to Cubie and Anderson, the Golden Eagles will also say goodbye to Trent Graves (6-8, Sr, F, Hartford, S.D.) and Kazeem Adelekan (6-6, Sr, G, Coon Rapids, Minn.).

Golden Eagles vs. Wayne State College            Friday, February 24        8 p.m.

The Wildcats have an overall record of 8-16 and NSIC record of 7-13 after dropping a 71-61 NSIC game to Augustana College on Saturday. WSC is led by Amry Shelby who is averaging 14.7 points per game. Derrell Williams is averaging 12.3 points and 6.7 rebounds per game. Vontrell Seroyer is averaging 11.2 points per game. The Wildcats defeated the Golden Eagles 64-49 back on December 14.

Golden Eagles vs. Augustana College                Saturday, February 25    6 p.m.

The Vikings have an overall record of 15-9 and NSIC record of 12-8 after defeating Wayne State College 71-61 in an NSIC contest on Saturday. Augustana College is led by Cody Schilling who is averaging 16.9 points and 4.4 rebounds per game. Cameron McCaffrey is averaging 13.9 points per game. Drae Murray is averaging 13.4 points and four rebounds per game. The Vikings defeated the Golden Eagles 66-60 back on December 17.
