(Crookston, Minn.)- Northern State University raced out to a 54-31 halftime lead and went on to defeat the University of Minnesota, Crookston 94-67 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Men's Basketball action on Saturday night in Aberdeen, S.D.
The Wolves shot 62.1 % (18-29) in the first half and 52.5% for the game. They were led by Collin Pryor who scored 18 points (8-8 from the field) with 15 rebounds. Jared Hannigan added 17 points (5-8 from the field) with five three-point field goals. Tom Parks scored 14 points (5-10 from the field) while Tydan Storrusten added 12 points (3-3 from the field) with six rebounds.
Larry Brown (Jr, F, St. Paul, Minn.) scored 22 points (8-12 from the field) to lead U of M, Crookston.
The Golden Eagles return to NSIC action on Saturday, February 11 when they host Bemidji State University in NSIC action. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m.
