Golden Eagle Men Drop Tight Game at University of Mary

(Crookston, Minn.)- The University of Minnesota, Crookston Men's Basketball team took a 28-25 halftime lead but were outscored 37-32 in the second half by the University of Mary (U-Mary) as the Golden Eagles dropped a tight 62-60 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) game tonight in Bismarck, N.D.

The Marauders were led by Eric Erdman who scored 20 points (8-20 from the field) with six rebounds. Anthony Moody scored 15 points (6-18 from the field) with six rebounds. Jordan Wilhelm (3-8 from the field) and Jalen Jaspers (3-4 from the field) each added ten points. Wilhelm also added ten rebounds.

Adam Hendricks (Sr, F, Watertown, Minn.) (6-12 from the field) and Eric Dearden (Sr, G, Riverton, Utah) (5-14 from the field) each scored 15 points. Hendricks pulled down nine rebounds while Dearden pulled down six rebounds and added four assists. Larry Brown (Jr, F, St. Paul, Minn.) added 11 points (4-7 from the field) with seven rebounds.

U-Mary improves to 16-4 overall and 12-4 in the NSIC. U of M, Crookston falls to 6-13 overall and 2-13 in the NSIC.

The Golden Eagle Men return to action on Saturday, February 5 at Northern State University. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m.
