(Crookston, Minn.)- The University of Minnesota, Crookston Men's Basketball team, fresh off its stunning 70-66 come-from-behind victory over Winona State University on Saturday night, will look to close out the 2010-2011 season on a high note as they travel to Wayne State College on Friday, February 25 and Augustana College on Saturday, February 26. The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) games tip-off at 8 p.m. and 6 p.m. respectively.
The Golden Eagles hold an overall record of 7-17 and NSIC record of 3-17. They are led by Eric Dearden (Sr, G, Riverton, Utah) who is averaging 14.4 points and 3.3 rebounds per game. Larry Brown (Jr, G, St. Paul, Minn.) is averaging 12.6 and 4.3 rebounds per game. Adam Hendricks (Sr, F, Watertown, Minn.) is averaging 10.4 points and 3.7 rebounds per game.
U of M, Crookston will bid farewell to five seniors. In addition to Dearden and Hendricks, Mike Larsen (Sr, F, Bluffdale, Utah), Jon Michalski (Sr, G, Silver Bay, Minn.) and Jason Servaty (Sr, G, St. Michael, Minn.) will see their last collegiate action.

The Wildcats have an overall record of 11-13 and NSIC record of 7-13 after dropping a 69-47 NSIC decision at Augustana College on Saturday night. Wayne State College is led by Amry Shelby who is averaging 14.2 points per game. Brad Starken is averaging 12.6 points and 4.8 rebounds per game. Jason Jensen is averaging 11.6 points and 3.4 rebounds per game. The Golden Eagles defeated the Wildcats in Crookston by a 55-54 score back on December 18.
Golden Eagles @ Augustana College Saturday, February 26 6 p.m.
The Vikings hold an overall record of 17-7 and NSIC record of 14-6 after defeating Wayne State College by a 69-47 score at home on Saturday night. Augustana College is led by Cody Schilling who is averaging 20.4 points and 4.7 rebounds per game. Cameron McCaffrey is averaging 18.6 points per game. The Vikings defeated the Golden Eagles in Crookston by an 81-68 score back on December 17.
The University of Minnesota, Crookston is an NCAA Division II Institution and a member of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC). The Golden Eagle Equestrian team is a member of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA).
