(Crookston, Minn.)- The University of Minnesota, Crookston Women's Soccer team hits the road for Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Soccer action on Saturday, October 22 and Sunday, October 23 when they travel to Wayne State College (WSC) and Augustana College (AC) respectively. Both games begin at 1 p.m.
The Golden Eagles have an overall record of 3-10-1 and NSIC record of 2-6-1 after a 0-0 double overtime tie with Southwest Minnesota State University and a 2-0 loss to Minnesota State University in their final home games this past weekend. U of M, Crookston is led by
Nikki Hammond (So, F, Nelson, Minn.) who has scored four goals for eight points.
Jessica Ramirez (Fr, F, Millbrae, Cal.) has scored one goal and added two assists for four points.
Amanda Stapleton (Jr, G, Jonesboro, Ark.) has a 1.70 goals against average and a .806 saves percentage.
Golden Eagles @ Wayne State College Saturday, October 22 1 p.m.
The Wildcats have an overall record of 3-9-1 and NSIC record of 0-8-1 after dropping a pair of overtime games to the University of Minnesota Duluth (1-0) and Bemidji State University (1-0) this past weekend. Mallory Hoyt and Alexa Romek each have scored two goals and added one assist for five points for WSC. Jessica Stringer has a 1.07 goals against average and .769 saves percentage while Ryan Wells has a 2.13 goals against average and a .649 saves percentage.
Golden Eagles @ Augustana College Sunday, October 23 1 p.m.
The Vikings have an overall record of 7-7-0 and NSIC record of 4-5-0 after defeating Bemidji State University (1-0) and losing the University of Minnesota Duluth (5-3) this past weekend. Mackenzie Trom has scored four goals and added one assist for nine points. Maren Werth and Aleshia Oehlerking have each scored for goals for eight points.
