Shelby Conard started her career at UMC in the fall of 2018. She was elevated to associate head athletic trainer in 2021. Conard works primarily with baseball and equestrian.
Prior to UMC, Conard worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at North Dakota State University with the Bison softball program from 2016-2018 while she earned her masters degree.
Prior to NDSU, Conard worked as an assistant athletic trainer at Millsaps College for the 2015-16 academic year.
In the summers of 2018, 2019 and 2021, Conard was the head athletic trainer at Berkshire Soccer Academy for Girls.
Conard earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Northern Michigan University in 2015 where she played soccer. She then earned her Master of Science in Advanced Athletic Training from North Dakota State University in 2018.
Conard is a BOC certified athletic trainer (ATC), certified kineisotape practitioner (CKTP), Graston Technique M1 trained and a nationally registered emergency medical technician (NREMT).
Conard is a Michigan native and lives in Fisher, Minn.
