2024 (Sophomore): Jones played 25 matches and 89 sets on the season. She put up a team-high 308 points, with 3.4 points per set. She also leads in kills with 254, and had 726 total attempts. Jones had 26 serve aces and 4 assists. Defensively she had 92 digs and 41 blocks.

2023 (Freshman): Jones started 18 of her 22 matches played for the Golden Eagles with 79 sets played, 219 kills, 647 total attempts, eight assists and 17 serve aces. On the defensive side Jones had 144 digs and 39 blocks.

Prior to Minnesota Crookston: Jones has had an illustrious high school and club career. The future Golden Eagle was named an AVCA All-Region and All-American second team. Jones was also named to the 26-5A All-District team three years and was named the Most Valuable Hitter in her district. Jones also gets it done in the classroom. Jones was named to the Academic All-State Honorable Mention team and was Academic All-District four years in a row.
 
Jones played with her two older sisters as a freshman at Canyon High School. Jones is the daughter of Robert and Lisa Jones. Her mom, Lisa, is in the Hall of Fame for women's basketball at St. Edwards University (Texas) and both of her sisters played collegiate volleyball. Angel played at Southern Methodist, while Erin played at Texas Woman's University. Maya plans to major in Animal Science at Minnesota Crookston.
