2022 (Junior): Was a dynamic player in the middle for the Golden Eagles...Finished with a career-high in a number of categories, including kills (220), kills per set (2.14), total attacks (530), points (249) and matches started (28)...Set the program record for most kills by a middle blocker with 20 kills on 47 total attacks against UMary...Had an attacking percentage of over .300 11 different times, including a .526 attacking percentage on the road at Bemidji State (10/4/2022) and .556 also against Bemidji State on 10/25/22...Safe to say she liked playing Bemidji State.
2021 (Sophomore): Proved to be a valuable piece in the rotation for the Golden Eagles...Played in all 25 matches, while starting 24...Was second on the team scoring 191 points...Averaged over two points per set...Finished with 155 kills on over 420 attacks...Hit .424 in a match against Bemidji State where she collected 16 kills (career-high) on 33 total attacks.
2020 (Freshman): Weisensel played in four sets against UMary...She notched eight kills and hit .300 versus the Marauders...Weisensel added one dig...The fall 2020 season was canceled due to COVID-19...The Golden Eagles competed in one official spring match.
Prior to Minnesota Crookston:Â Weisensel was the New Ulm Journal Player of the Year in 2019. She was the Tomahawk Conference Player of the Year during her senior season. Weisensel helped Minnesota Valley Lutheran H.S. to a 24-2 mark as a senior. She was an All-Tomahawk Conference First Team pick during the 2019 season. Weisensel was also named All-Tomahawk Conference First Team in 2018. She was an All-Tomahawk Conference Honorable Mention selection as a sophomore in 2017.
Personal: Weisensel was born Aug. 28, 2002. She is the daughter of Loren and Dawn Weisensel. Weisensel plans to major in business management. Her mother Dawn Weisensel played volleyball and basketball at Martin Luther College. Her sister Rylee Weisensel played volleyball and ran track at Martin Luther College.
