2024 (Sophomore): Carsten played in all 94 sets through 26 matches. She earned 257 points, 222 kills with 2.36 per set, and 894 total attempts. She put up 14 assists and 25 serving aces. Defensively she had 308 digs and 17 blocks on the season. 

2023 (Freshman): Carsten played in 90 sets through 26 matches while earning 228 points, 201 kills, 749 total attempts with 12 assists and 19 serving aces. On the defensive side Careten had 222 digs and 13 blocks.

Prior to Minnesota Crookston: Carsten was named 2022 Minnesota Class AA All-State. She was a 2022 Section 6AA All-Section selection. Carsten was named the 2022 Park Region Conference Most Valuable Player. She is a three-time Park Region All-Conference recipient. Carsten achieved 1,191 career digs and 953 career kills. She is a three-year captain for Wadena-Deer Creek H.S.

She is the daughter of Gary and Tracy Carsten. Carsten plans to major in exercise science and wellness at Minnesota Crookston. She recovered from back-to-back ACL surgeries and was out of sports for about a year-and-a-half.
