2022 (Sophomore): Was about as consisten as could be in the back for the Golden Eagles...Had a streak of 10 matches where she finished with 10 or more digs, including 24 digs against Illinois-Springfield (9/2/22) and 25 against the University of Mary (9/17/22)...Career-high 26 digs in the last match of the season against MSU Moorhead...Five matches with two service aces on the season.

2021 (Freshman): Rarely came off the floor as a freshman...Led the Golden Eagles in digs per set with 2.73...Had over 300 receiving chances and finished with a percentage of over .900...Her 205 digs on the season were the most by a Golden Eagle freshman since 2018, when Porsha Porath dug out 111 balls on the season...Had a career-high 20 digs against the Marauders of UMary.

Prior to UMN Crookston: Whaley was a four-year varsity letter winner for Ashland-Greenwood H.S...She was an All-Omaha Area Honorable Mention selection...Whaley helped her team claim a district championship in 2020 and led them to the Class B State semifinals...On their way to the semifinals, Whaley helped Ashland-Greenwood H.S. to their first-ever win at the state volleyball tournament. She was a Nebraska All-Class Honorable Mention pick...Whaley earned the 2018 and 2019 NSAA Academic All-State Award...She helped her squad to the 2019 Malcolm Tournament Championship...Whaley is at the top of her senior class academically of 80 students.

Personal: Whaley is the daughter of Deborah and Rory Whaley...She was born June 23, 2003...Whaley plans to major in biology and chemistry (pre-medicine)...Her father Rory Whaley played college football and baseball at the University of Nebraska Omaha.
