Biography

2024 (Freshman): Johnson played in just one set on the season vs Lubbock Christian

Prior to UMC: Johnson was a standout for Duluth East High School. Johnson was named to the 2023 Essentia Health All-Star Team, representing Northeast Minnesota. She was also named the 2023-24 Offensive Player of the Year for Duluth East High School.
 
Johnson is the daughter of Melinda and David Johnson. Her mom, Melinda, played both volleyball and basketball at Appalachian Bible College in West Virginia.
 
Karys plans to major in Biology at the University of Minnesota Crookston.
