Prior to Minnesota Crookston:Â Waasdorp has been a captain for West Fargo Sheyenne High School the past two seasons and was named to the All-State second team as a junior, as well as All-Eastern Dakota Conference. Waasdorp was also named to the North Country Region All-Star Team.

Waasdorp is the daughter of Landon and Elissa Waasdorp and plans to major in Health Sciences at Minnesota Crookston.
