Prior to UMN Crookston: Leingang is part of Davies high school honors society, and has won academic awards. 

Personal: She is daughter of Kary and LaShalle Leingang. Her mother LaShelle competed basketball at NDSU, her cousin Jake Leingang competes track and field at Oregon and NDSU, Her cousin Levi Rockey competes track and field at NDSU. She plans to major in Business Finance.
