2013: Played No. 5 and No. 6 singles for the Golden Eagles...Went 0-1 at the No. 5 slot and 0-10 at No. 6 singles...In doubles, teamed with Emily Caldis to go 0-3 and Casey Paris to go 0-4 at No. 3 doubles.
Played soccer for the Golden Eagles as a freshman and Sophomore before moving to the tennis team for her junior and senior seasons.
Attended Rosemount High
School...2010 graduate...named All-Lake Conference Honorable Mention...two-time Ms. Defense Award winner...served as team captain as a senior...state qualifier in track and field...named McDonald's Athlete of the Week..named honorable mention in solo and ensemble...two-time state 4-H qualifier...named to the academic honor roll...received the Academic Pin twice.
Daughter of Kevin and Marlae Newman of Apple Valley, Minn…majoring in animal science at U of M, Crookston.
