2024 (Freshman): Scharold played in 61 sets in 18 matches. She put up 104 points with 86 kills, 4 assists and 259 total attempts. On the defensive side she had 20 digs and 26 blocks.

Prior to UMN Crookston: Scharold will be a Golden Eagle after a decorated high school career at Campbell County High School... Scharold was a 4 year varsity player and helped her team win the district in 2021 and were region runner-ups in 2020 and 2021 and won the region this past year... As a sophomore in 2021, Scharold was named the most improved player and was named an all-star by the Cincinnati Enquirer... This past year, she was named to the region All-Tournament team and wrapped-up her prolific prep career with over 700 kills and 240 blocks.
 
Personal: Lexi is the daughter of Brandi and Steven Scharold and is undecided on her major at the University of Minnesota Crookston... Her dad, Steven, played football at Union College and his uncle, Joe, played baseball at the University of the Cumberlands... Her other uncle, Robbie, ran track and cross country at the University of Kentucky.
