2019 (Junior): Emmett played a key role for the Golden Eagles this season as she was a huge part of the Golden Eagle back line. Emmett started 9 of the 13 games she appeared in. Katie tallied 2 shots on goal and 4 shots total on the season. Emmett also some a stint of time behind the goal as she played goalie for 7 minutes against Winona State and recorded 2 saves.

Prior to UMC: Emmett is coming to Minnesota Crookston after playing two years of junior college soccer at Northeast Texas Community College in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. Emmett helped the Eagles to an  8-8-1 mark during the 2018 season. As a freshman, Emmett and the Northeast Texas Eagles posted a 9-7 record. Emmett started all 14 games as a sophomore for the Eagles. She scored two goals and added two assists. Emmett had eight shots and five shots on goal. As a member of the back line, she helped the Eagles to three shutouts. As a freshman, Emmett played in 10 games and started four games. She tallied two goals and assist during her freshman campaign. Emmett played for Shelburne Ladies Football Club (LFC) based out of Dublin, Ireland. She attended Eureka Secondary School in Kells, Ireland.

Personal: She plans to major in agricultural education. Emmett was born Oct. 25, 1998.
