Prior to U of M Crookston: Ivashchenko played one year with the Northwich Vixens in England. Prior to one year in England, she attended Boryspil Academic Lyceum for 11 years. Last year, she attended Sir John Deane's Sixth Form College in England.
Personal: She is the daughter of Olesky Ivashchenko and Olga Karpova. Ivashchenko is majoring in software engineering. She has an older brother Nikita. She has played soccer, and some ping pong growing up.
