Brady Heppner

Brady Heppner enters his first full season at the helm of the Golden Eagles after being hired in October of 2024 as Head women's golf coach and assistant hockey coach. Golden Eagle women's golf saw massive strides as a program. They had their first two individual winners in program history, as Clara Hanson won the USF Invitational, becoming the first Golden Eagle to ever win a tournament as an individual with ten or more programs. Then, in the spring, Anaka Lysne won the SMSU Invitational in Arizona. Lysne's tournament win marks the largest tournament a Golden Eagle women's golfer has ever won. Under Heppner's direction, the Golden Eagles carded six of the nine best scores in program history as individuals, as well as six of the lowest two-round team scores in program history.

Heppner helped lead the Golden Eagles to their best ever finish at the NSIC Championships, finishing in a tie for seventh out of 12 teams. Anaka Lysne also became the first Golden Eagle ever to be named to an All-NSIC team in back-to-back seasons.

Heppner was a staple on the Crookston High boy's golf and hockey teams as a prep. He also played junior hockey in the NAHL for the Minnesota Magicians. He competed on the Minnesota Junior PGA circuit for golf. He placed third in 2013 at King's Walk Golf Course in Grand Forks, N.D. Heppner had a first-place finish at Headwaters Golf Course in 2012 and one at Grand Forks Country Club in 2011. Heppner's dad Brad Heppner is the men's golf coach at Minnesota Crookston. His brother Seth Heppner played men's golf at Minnesota Crookston, and is currently the head men's and women's golf coach at Jessup University in Rocklin, Calif.
