Biography
Prior to UMN Crookston: She was an All-Lake Superior Conference pick. Lamppa helped Rock Ridge H.S. to two sixth-place finishes, and two Section Championships. She has served as a basketball captain. Lamppa joins her twin sister Lexi as signees for the Golden Eagles. She was a teammate at Rock Ridge of current Golden Eagle

"Maija is a very dynamic guard who can score at all three-levels," Moynihan remarked. "She has great footwork and has the ability to affect the game on both ends of the court. We can't wait to coach Maija!"
Personal: She is daughter of Josh and Stacie Lamppa, She is currently undecided. Her father Josh competed baseball at St. Scholastica, her sister Ella Lamppa competes tennis at UW-Stout, Her other sister Emma Lamppa competes basketball at Hamlime University, She gets to compete along side her twin sister Lexi Lamppa.
