Prior to UMC: Emily played her senior year at Monticello H.S. after transferring  in from Big Lake H.S...She led team to the Minnesota Class AAA State Tournament quarterfinals, where they lost to Washburn H.S...Emily went toe-to-toe with Metro Player of the Year Chase Coley, a University of Iowa recruit, in the quarterfinals...She had 24 points and eight boards against Washburn H.S. Emily scored 1,000 points in her career at Monticello H.S. and Big Lake H.S...She played varsity for three seasons...She was an All-Mississippi 8 selection in 2014 and was named Team Most Valuable Player...She holds the single-season school record with 89 blocks in a year and eight blocks per game...Emily also holds the school record with 226 career blocks. She finished the year averaging 14.4 points per game, overall.
