2012-13: Freshman season... Appeared in 11 games during her first season in the Maroon and Gold... Tallied four points against Western New Mexico Nov. 24... Had three points off the bench in nine minutes against U-Mary Feb. 15...Tallied three boards against Western New Mexico Nov. 24 and versus Winona State Jan. 19... Had assists against Winona State and Augustana.
High School: Averaged 10.9 points per game for Wadena-Deer Creek H.S. as a senior... Led team to 19-7 mark as a senior... Selected All-Mid-State Conference as a junior and senior... Was twice named the Best Defensive Player for the Wolverines... She earned the Hustle Award and was named to the North Central All-Star team... Her AAU team was named Gopher State Champions four times and she earned two silver medals at the National State Games of America... In addition to basketball, Jackson was a standout student-athlete in volleyball and softball for the Wolverines.
Personal: Jackson plans to major in early childhood education and follow in her mother’s footsteps and be a kindergarten teacher... She is the daughter of Jay and Junelle Jackson of Wadena... Uncle is UMC assistant women’s basketball coach Nate Mahlen.
